the f150 had a 4.6, and I'm not saying that my truck is the best thing ever. I've been smoked by a lot of cars, but I haven't yet been beaten by a GAS truck. I'm not sure why you think it's invalid, because I'm just saying that my truck is faster. So what if it's lighter, ITS FASTER. If you put my engine in a heavier duty truck, I'm sure that my truck would be a little bit faster, but not by much. Remember I have a 3 inch lift with bigger tires, so it's not like it's a low-rider that can just stay low to the ground. Weight shouldn't be too much of an issue, my dad's 5.7(Ithink) chevy 1500 smoked my ass, and my friends ram 1500 with a 5.2.

With a cam, cold air intake, flowmaster 40 series exhaust, and a high performance programmer. I guess you can call it a chip haha. It's 360 horse. And I agree that the ls1 motors are badass
